Life Thread Hangs by a Yarn
Each stretched-out-on-Earth canvas is a combination of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet, a multicolored optical and existential phenomenon. Seven, the depositary number with the greatest mystical and cultural symbolism appears ubiquitously
A designer creates a clothing fabric by combining unusual materials: iron wire, woolen, silk, wood, gold, and plastic threads. Then he presents that cloth to the world as an attire on a major city catwalk. One more product of the lubricated circuit of creating problems without a need.
Viewers’ reactions range from surprise to amazement to laughter to admiration. None of them will ever dress that kind of grotesque, heavy and uncomfortable sweater, but at least the artist’s quip was worth it. They clap, smile and laugh at yet another craziness of ephemeral superficiality.
Disclaimer: I would not completely cancel the possibility of seeing that mass-produced garment. Human ridicules’ race surprises more than an alienated artist.
In another deep and mysterious place, outside of visible reality of perception, an artist embroiders masterpieces lives with threads of iron, wool, silk, wood, gold, plastic, and even other unmixable materials. Sets of unique shapes, concrete solutions to current problems.
The artist’s traces appear in enigmas hidden in nature such as the golden ratio, in mathematics and logic with the Fibonacci sequence and the number Pi, in astronomy and physics such as black holes and cosmic inflation.
This set of isolated raw materials makes up the daily improbability that the vulgar call small miracles. From their lecterns, incredulous intellectuals conclude that, like fashion spectators, or a herd that bleats or howls, the populace associates and develops a creed or cult to understand the inexplicable.
In the meantime, the artist left an Ariadne thread that allows us to find our way out of the labyrinth of problems, defeat the monsters that stalk us and overcome the tragedy that life can become. In the thread of each existence there is a primordial yarn that can only be deciphered through unfathomable love. This is the greatest mystery of existence and the only thing that makes sense to dress in an unusual, extravagant and superhuman outfit.
Only through that thread will we find the exit and meet the Artist.
